Course overview
This course is designed to minimise the risk to life and comply with fire safety requirements and legislation. Included will be the fire safety signs, the risks of fire safety in the workplace, how to avoid a fire by spotting fire hazards, the different fire extinguisher types and their legal responsibilities in the prevention and response to fires in the workplace.

- Show awareness of the dangers of fire and smoke
- Describe appropriate actions to take in the event of a fire
- Discuss how to identify and remove fire hazards
- Highlight the importance of fire safety equipment and procedures in the workplace
